Question: What is the scanning depth? When do I use them?

Answer:  The scanning depth can be set in software. There are there levels in software that you can choose.

Shallow: 15mm,which can be used to scan the position of the implant cuff. This reduces soft tissue interference and allows the probe to be depressed to stay close to the soft tissue during scanning.

Standard: 18mm,normal intraoral.

Deep:23mm,can be used to scan deeper positions in cases of gingival recession, severe root exposure and long teeth.
